Mayor Admits He Did Not Hear Alerts Before Texas Flood

(TSN): Kristi Noem, the Secretary of Homrland Security said the strenghth of Texans us "incredible." As one of the first Trump Admonistratiom officoal to visit the state since the devastating floods, she emotiinally described her experience  on the ground to Pres. Trump in a cabinet meeting Tuesday. She had spoke to several grieving officials  who were still working  to find missing people, despite personal loss.

The mayor of Kerr himself said that he did not hear an alarm prior to a wall of water drowning over 100 people in his riverside town.

Reporters  are still seeking accountability regarding emergenvy preparedness.  While many lawmakers have tried to keep the focus off partisan politics, many are beginning to  believe Republicans are refusing to  admit that the Trump Administration's removal of the National Weather Service may have been a factor in sendjng untimely weather alerts.

The Slice News inquired about wheter the Trump Administration  would consider reopening yhe weather office in the  future.  The answer was that no staffing changes would be made going forward because as far as the White House is concerned, the National Weather Service did its job.

The lingering question is about the potential forbmore lives being saved if local officials were able to sound the alarm in a timely manner.

Pres.  Trump has committed to visiting the area later this week.
