NEW YORK (February 10, 2021) — The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation announced today the following Nominees for 2021 Induction: Mary J. Blige Kate Bush Devo Foo Fighters The Go-Go’s Iron Maiden JAY-Z Chaka Khan Carole King Fela Kuti LL Cool J New York Dolls Rage Against the Machine Todd Rundgren Tina Turner Dionne Warwick All 16 of the nominees are legendary in their respective genres of music. Only 5 will be selected and formally inducted into the HOF this May. To be eligible they all were required to have released their first song at least 25 years ago. Several of the diverse nominees have something in common other than music. New Yorkers Jay Z and Mary J. Blige were nominated at the same time.
