Three CEOs from tech giants OpenAI, SoftBank (9984.T), and Oracle (ORCL.N) joined the president on revealing their plan to invest $500 billion in Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure. Trump said he will fast track their project with emergency orders. They hope to build several data centers. In 2020, the National Artificial Intelligence Initiative Act of 2020 established a National Artificial Intelligence Initiative Office (NAIIO) to coordinate AI research and policymaking. The law also authorized funding for AI research and workforce training.
