Austrian concert promoter, Barracuda Music, announced the shows that were scheduled to start on Thursday would be cancelled "for everyone's safety." The suspect and a 17-year-old of Rawandan descent who conspired to attack have been arrested. U.S. authorities communicated with Austrian officials and they took swift action to avert what could have been a major tragedy at Ernst Happel Stadium where over 200,000 concert-goers were expected.
