buzzz worthy. . . Bob McDonnell has finally gotten some mercy. On Monday, a federal court ruled the former Virginia Governor can remain out on bond until his appeals hearing. McDonnell, who was convicted several public corruption charges and sentenced to 2 years in prison. McDonnell's prison term was set to begin Feb. 9 after a jury found he and his wife, Maureen, guilty of illegally accepting more than $165,000 in gifts and loans in exchange for favors from wealthy businessman Jonnie Williams. The next appeals hearing is set to begin in May of 2015.
