AMI RUSHES TO RELEASE TESTIFY June 29, 2010

Produced by Kurt Carr, the fourth effort gives honor to the late Reverend Timothy Wright, Andre Crouch and Dottie Rambo

Renowned gospel artist Ami Rushes will release her fourth studio effort TESTIFY, produced by Kurt Carr, honoring the late Reverend Timothy Wright, Dottie Rambo and the phenomenal Andre Crouch, Tuesday, June 29, it was announced today.

As with all her musical efforts--Refreshed, Lifting and Covering--Rushes continues her mission with TESTIFY to bless, uplift and lead listeners to Christ.

"I pray that the anointing that is on this new project will be transferred to the listener and remove burdens and destroy yolks," she expresses.

With TESTIFY Rushes continues the support of gospel classics where she kicks off her adoration of traditional gospel music with the title track and single, TESTIFY, written by the late Reverend Timothy Wright.

"I so deeply wanted to pay tribute to our beloved brother the late Reverend Timothy Wright," Rushes says.  "Every song on this album is testifying to the goodness and greatness and healing power of God the Father our Lord Jesus Christ."
And with an array of exceptional arrangements of gospel renditions, Rushes once again teams up with long-time friend and sought-after songwriter/producer Kurt Carr-the two have been friends for 18 years-to offer inspirational classics.

It's Good to Give Thanks, is a Sunday morning praise and worship high-energy song, the title track Testify, written by the late Reverend Timothy Wright, is a contemporary gospel hit that makes you want to get up and dance, Nothing Too Hard for God takes a look back at the 60s and is telling that God can do anything!

Other songs include: Didn't It Rain--the old story about what happened when God and Noah got together--recorded years ago by the great Mahalia Jackson, There is No Other Name, is worship and adoration acknowledging that the name of Jesus is the greatest highest name in heaven and earth, You Can Make It is a song of encouragement to anyone who needs to be uplifted and strengthened, while Determination, written by Kurt Carr, is a song that speaks to the fact that we must be determined to go all the way with the Lord.

With the combined songs, Always Remember/Jesus Jesus Jesus, Ami says, "There is a strong anointing on these songs and I believe they will take you into the presence of the Lord. I'm sure the writers, Andre Crouch and Reverend Timothy Wright, felt the same way when they penned these beautiful songs."

I Go To The Rock pays tribute to the late Dottie Rambo and reminds us that when all else fails we have Jesus our Rock that we can go to in prayer.

The powerful Yahweh, the song that tells the story of the birth, death, resurrection and return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ sums up a well-rounded project that is sure to be a blessing to many.

"TESTIFY is a vehicle for salvation for there is a place in each of the songs to give the listener an opportunity to receive the Lord Jesus as Lord and Savior of their lives," says Rushes.
