DETROIT (Feb.8, 2011)– Legendary Gospel artist Karen Clark Sheard is all set for an incredible year! Two months into 2011 finds her on top of the world as a GRAMMY Award nominee, a Stellar award winner, and now the buzz is building on the video release of her smash-hit single “He Knows,” featuring Dorinda Clark Cole. The popular song from the successful GRAMMY nominated album, “All In One”, answers the questions many people ponder on whether God knows about their daily struggles. The video comes on the heels of Karen’s recent honor of being named the Stellar Awards’ first-ever Albertina Walker Female Vocalist of the Year.

"It’s an honor to be the first to receive "The Albertina Walker Female Vocalist of the Year Award," Clark Sheard rejoiced. “She was one of the first along with that famous group, to pave the way for artists like my sisters and myself, and we are eternally grateful for her hard work which inspires me to keep going!"

“He Knows" is a favorite on both gospel and urban radio. The hypnotic, urban-flavored ballad was written by Kendall Hunter, J Moss (Clark Sheard’s cousin), And Paul Allen. The song was produce by PAJAM (Paul Allen & JMoss).  The video was produced by Tia Smith (Talented Sol Productions) and directed by Bobby Yan.

Clark Sheard’s latest album, “All In One” is nominated for a GRAMMY Awards for Best Traditional Gospel Album. Winners will be announced during the 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards on CBS on Sunday, February 13 at 8 pm ET/PT. Fans can also catch her performance with The Clark Sisters for the BMI Trailblazers of Gospel Music premiere on Gospel Music Channel on Saturday, February 19 at 7 p.m. ET. Additionally, Karen performs during the Kirk Franklin tribute of the 26th Annual Stellar Awards performance, which airs on Saturday, March 5 at 8 p.m. ET on Gospel Music Channel.
