Chris Brown Top Winner at BET Awards--Mistake Cleared Up; Winner's List

Tiffany Green looks confused while announcing Viewers Choice results

Chris Brown won the most BET Awards Sunday night, but a mess up had everyone thinking one of the trophies was intended for another artist--either his ex, Rihanna or Drake.
BET President of Entertainment Stephen Hill clarified that Chris Brown is the real winner of the Coca Cola Viewer's Choice Award.

Confusion around who won occured when fan contest winner Tiffany Greene (presenting with Terrance and Roxy BET's 106 & Park) announced Brown won, then she corrected herself and read Rihanna's name from the  HTC Evo View 4G tablet that served as "the envelope."

The moment became more awkward when Terrance announced Drake was the winner. Drake actually came up to accept the award saying, "Well this is awkward."   But Brown was the winner all along. The host, Kevin Hart brought Brown on the stage to acknowledge the error and give him props.
Making a strong comeback from a tumultuos past few years, the newly crowned Male Artist of the Year came into the show with the most nominations, six and left with the most wins, four.
Hill took full responsibility for the snafu that was due to a technical glitch and he said the fan only read what she saw.
