Dana Perry launches "Hannah the Great" childrens book line

buzzz worthy. . .

(Atlanta, GA) – May 7, 2014Dana L. Perry, launches her children’s book line, Hannah the Great!

Author Dana L. Perry began shopping for books when she learned that she was pregnant with her daughter, Hannah Alexandria and was very disappointed in the options that were available. She was looking for books that affirmed her daughter’s beauty, brilliance, talent and ability and could not find a line that was dedicated to edifying and encouraging her daughter.

Girls face unique challenges with self-esteem, peer pressure and developing a healthy sense of worth due to being bombarded by messages that chip away at the very essence of their being. So Dana began writing affirming letters to her daughter and "Hannah the Great" books were born. During the exploratory process, she learned that girls in the United States are considered "in crisis" due to low self-esteem with a reported 70%  having poor self-image and esteem, leading to a host of other issues.

Upon discovery of this statistical data, Dana knew she was indeed on the right track and created a line that gives little girls the foundation they need to feel good about themselves, their talents and abilities. Currently, there are two books in the series: "Girls Can Do That" and "What Is Pretty" .

"Girls Can Do That" highlights the importance of following your heart and your dreams while "What Is Pretty" declares that beauty comes from within and is in every shape and hue.
