Soul-Stirring Collection of Songs Set To Release March 31, 2015

Columbia, MD - Habakkuk Music and Central City Productions announces the track listing for its forthcoming compilation album celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Stellar Gospel Music Awards. The highly anticipated collection “Stellar Awards 30th Anniversary 1985-2015” (Habakkuk Music) releases March 31, 2015.

“These are just a few of the gospel songs and artists that have not only made an impact in gospel music but within the music industry at large, ” says April Chandler, President of Habakkuk Music. “It was extremely difficult to narrow the list down but we feel this is a great introduction to the music that’s been celebrated at the Stellar Gospel Music Awards from the contemporary sounds of Kirk Franklin to the old school sound of Shirley Caesar.”

Winans, Sr. has wed his long time girlfriend Deneen R. Carter. Carter is a 57-year-old physical therapist and minister at Perfecting Church in Detroit, founded by Winans. Little is known about the bride publicly. The gospel legend introduced the now Mrs. Winans as his fiance to the congregants of Perfecting in October of 2021.
