CATCH THIS TEA: Mariah Huq has down-sized her role on 'Married to Medicine' for the third season with good reason

buzzz worthy. . .

BRAVO MEDIA ADMINISTERS A DOSE OF REMEDIES AND FRENEMIES ON THE SEASON THREE PREMIERE OF “MARRIED TO MEDICINE” SUNDAY, JUNE 7 AT 9:00pm ET/PT

"They can bring a whole army, but they can not bring Mrs. Mariah down,"  said Mariah Huq about cast members  turning against her in season 2 of Bravo's "Married to Medicine" (MTM).

The star and creator of the show, Mrs. Huq may not be down, but she is out as one of the official cast members on the upcoming season 3.  While Bravo has not divulged the reason Huq may be more of a spectator this season, it is safe to assume the reason is personal and may be per doctor's orders.  Mariah had excitedly announced she was expecting twins via social media last year.  However, on November 11, 2014, her spouse, Dr. Aydin Huq posted a devastating message on Facebook writing his wife suffered a miscarriage.

Mariah makes a few cameo appearances, but does not appear in the show intro.  Quad Webb-Lunceford, her friend-turned enemy is front and center in the show's intro, appearing to be the topped billed cast member.

However, Mariah is still an Executive Producer (EP) of the show.  This casting decision makes it seem that the group turning on Mariah last season was a part of a grand scheme to overtake "Queen Mariah's" throne.  But, with EP credit apparently she is still on top of her game with less drama.  The remaining cast members don't skimp on blood pressure raising  drama.

See how the drama unfolds when season three of "Married to Medicine" returns to Bravo on Sunday, June 7 at 9:00 ET/PT.  Beginning Sunday, June 14, the series moves to its permanent timeslot at 8pm ET/PT. Last season, “Married to Medicine” averaged 1.2 million P18-49 and nearly 2.1 million total viewers according to Nielsen.

The network's  season summary describes each of the doctors experiencing a shake up
in their personal and professional lives.

Dr. Jackie’s passion for health leads her to start a fitness program but heartbreak hits home when she must deal with a family member’s illness.

Dr. Simone’s practice is booming, but her personal life is about to implode when she dives into her past and figures out the root of her anger issues.

Dr. Heavenly may bite off more than she can chew as an entrepreneur, relationship expert, dentist and mother, but faces a daunting dilemma when her husband pressures her to spend more time at home.

The entrepreneurial wives of MTM are on a mission to be more successful in business.

Toya is on a mission to prove that she’s not just a doctor’s wife and helps Eugene take his medical concierge business to the next level.

When Quad and Lisa run background checks on each other, the results reveal shocking transgressions that leave the two at odds.

In fact, Quad and Lisa had a disagreement that turned bloody.
“Married to Medicine” is produced by FremantleMedia North America and developed by Purveyors of Pop with Matt Anderson, Nate Green and Mariah Huq serving as Executive Producers. Annie Pandaru, Paul Yuan and Maryam Jahanbin serve as Co-Executive Producers.
