ELEVEN22 WORSHIP to release Before All Things September 4

buzzz worthy. . .

Before All Things is in a series of worship albums and experiences focused on creating music that speaks the language of the local community.

Jacksonville, FL - Eleven22 Worship, a musician community dedicated to creating worship songs that reflect the culture surrounding The Church of Eleven22, is releasing their third full-length album Before All Things, September 4. The new project reflects the growth of a movement of authentic faith as well as the creative outpouring of a community seeking to experience corporate worship in a new way.

Led by Worship Pastor Ben Williams, Eleven22 Worship is a collective of professional musicians, talented vocalists and lay-leaders who are driven to create songs of worship that are theologically sound, while being accessible to their audiences various musical leanings.  As on their acclaimed previous releases, Fall On Your Altar and The Reason, Before All Things is full of songs and sounds that are innovative and fresh, unable to be locked into just one genre or category.  With Before All Things, the Eleven22 Worship community took recording a step further, creating a unique collection of ten original songs penned by their internal church worship community.

Before All Things features vocalists Jonathan Berlin, Maria Berlin, Ben Harrell, Madeline Hill, Gretchen Martin and Ben Williams.  Jonathan Berlin (JohnnySwim, Jesus Culture, Kari Jobe), who also produced the project, was committed to the album being a reflection of the team at large, and not just focusing on certain members. “This album was a collaborative effort, where everyone in the Eleven22 Worship community was able to be a part of the process,” explains Ben. “Even with the large number of artists, we all worked seamlessly together while creating the album, and I believe we have a very distinct sound, not only stylistically, but because of sheer number of people who are a part of this collaborative effort.  I think people are going to be very surprised how well-balanced a team worship album can be, both lyrically and sonically.”

Based in a converted Walmart in Jacksonville, FL, Pastor Joby Martin launched The Church of Eleven22 as a non-denominational congregation dedicated to glorifying God by surrendering to Jesus, making disciple-making disciples and transforming communities.  Focused on serving the “unreachable” demographic in their local community that was underserved by the church, The Church of Eleven22 began as an intentionally intergenerational ministry with a vision to be “A movement for ALL people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ.”

Since its official launch three years ago, the congregation has expanded to five services hosting an average weekly attendance of 6000. Still committed to impacting their local beach culture, The Church of Eleven22 has attracted a group of musicians who are dedicated to creating music that speaks the language of the audience.

Ben continues, “Some of the songs are really going to connect with listeners because lyrically and sonically it speaks their language. We hope Before All Things will give people a vehicle to experience all of God in a fresh, new way.”
