Entertainment Veterans Launch HEART OF COOL During International Fashion Month

NEW YORK, NY, October 13, 2015 – Entertainment industry veterans, music executive Cristen Mills and wardrobe stylist Tasha Boué, have collaborated to officially launch HeartofCool.com, a new and innovative multi-platform digital publication that will serve as an online news outlet for millennials and creatives.  Heart of Cool is a cultural movement that includes daily publication of edgy and beautifully crafted content and images, highlighting brands, stories and personalities that creatively enhance the landscape of contemporary pop culture.
“Heart of Cool is a company by creatives for creatives,” said Heart of Cool co-founder Cristen Mills who gained industry recognition from her longtime work with rapper and Oscar winner Common.  “It’s not all about being dope and fly, but, more so about what makes you dope and fly,” added Tasha Boué, best known for her work with Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx.
 
Heart of Cool’s content is selected and managed by both Mills and Boué by identifying those on the verge of discovery, and celebrating the worlds of fashion, art, technology, food, entertainment, business, sports, and culture. They are creating a lifestyle statement that merges each genre together based on their inventive and artistic appeal. 
Heart of Cool’s target audience includes creative individuals and millennials, and caters to that demographic with its vibrant artwork and graphics, avant-garde features, and the brand’s Cool Guide – a monthly centerpiece that highlights seasonal must-haves for fashionistas, techies, foodies and culture junkies!
