Miami, FL - BET Networks announced today that Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will address the Leading Women Defined Summit (LWD), presented by COVERGIRL. The vision of Debra Lee, Chairman and CEO of BET Networks, the seventh annual summit will convene the nation’s most prominent African American women during Women’s History Month to help set a national agenda and actionable solutions surrounding prominent issues impacting the black community
This year’s theme of “Your Story. Our World.” empowers black women to reflect on their individual impact in a global world through candid conversations and engaging workshops including intimate conversations with Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Erykah Baduand U.S. Senate candidate, Kamala HarrisBozoma Saint John, Head of Global Consumer Marketing for Apple Music & iTunes will receive the Butterfly Award during the Dorothy Height luncheon for her unwavering commitment to service and leadership. Attendees will also engage and inspire local women through a volunteer session and career development workshop with the Miami affiliate of Dress for Success Worldwide.

Winans, Sr. has wed his long time girlfriend Deneen R. Carter. Carter is a 57-year-old physical therapist and minister at Perfecting Church in Detroit, founded by Winans. Little is known about the bride publicly. The gospel legend introduced the now Mrs. Winans as his fiance to the congregants of Perfecting in October of 2021.
