Controversial New Mobile Game Revolutionizes Support for Charity

buzzz worthy. . .

TALLAHASSEE, Fla., April 12, 2016  -- With its disputably sacrilegious content and outright attacks on Trump, Palin, the Tea Party, and Westboro Baptist Church – the team behind the Avenger Jesus Game Series is set to revolutionize the support for social justice by fighting fire with fire.

Don't let the racy game concepts fool, the game's end goal is no joke. The creators of the game have the ingenious idea of galvanizing the masses without asking them to do anything they don't already do.
Imagine changing the world just by playing a game on your smartphone. Instead of funding another foreign "for profit" corporation with your in-app purchase or ad watching, the altruistic creators of Avenger Jesus are channeling proceeds directly to charities that support LGBT rights, Women's Equality, and the list goes on.
"We want to create a paradigm shift in the mobile game industry; we call it "Capitalism for Charity". Ideally we want to see a portion of the $20 billion in gaming revenue that "for profit" companies make each year diverted to charities. Our games were created as the vehicle to do that!" declared Avenger Jesus creator Ryan Earls.
The concept is simple. Mobile games make money in one of two ways: through in-app purchases or through advertising. When you play the Avenger Jesus games series, the majority of that revenue goes to charity. The concept is brilliant because it doesn't require anyone to do anything that they aren't already doing.
Supercell's new game is currently making $1.5 million a day. The aim of Avenger Jesus games series is to do the same but give that money to charities like HeForShe or the God Loves The Gays billboard project.
With their new game, soon available on iOS and Android, Ryan and his team are well on their way to making their dream of gaming for charity a reality. They have launched an Indiegogo Campaign to fund the completion of their games. The games include not only the controversial shoot-em up style action games but also puzzle board games, photohunt style game, candy crush style game and much more.

Their spokeswoman, bisexual actress and LGBT advocate Rai Quartley, commented, "The Avenger Jesus project interests me as it hits close to home in more ways than one. My passion is helping bring about equality - and I hope others agree and will work with us to make this revolutionary game a reality."

The team is imploring the public to support their game. To thank supporters, the team has come up with a wide range of perks: depending on the donation amount, supporters can receive a 'WWAJD?' bracelet or even buy immortality by having the supporter's likeness included in the game itself!

Joey DeLoach, co-creator, summed it up saying, "We are using right wing tactics, pushing the bounds of free speech to further the cause for equality before it's too late."
