Yolanda Adams Morning Show signs off, replaced by Erica Campbell


The Yolanda Adams Morning Show has signed off. Adams and co hosts delivered their final dose of "faith, family, friends and fun"  on Friday, April 22 after ten years.  Adams posted parting words to fans online confirming the conclusion of the syndicated radio show.  “Hello Family. As of this morning, 'The Yolanda Adams Morning Show' has transitioned. We thank you for all of your support and love. We love all of you. Tune in to see the great things God is now doing with us.” 

"We are grateful for the years of dedicated service Yolanda Adams, her two co-hosts, Anthony Valarie (AV), Marcus D. Wiley and staff provided to our listeners and we wish them well in their future endeavors.”

The show was based in Houston where Adams resides and aired in 38 markets.  

Instead of an existing Radio One host getting promoted the spot is being exchanged from the hands of one Grammy-winning artist to another. Reach Media has hired Erica Campbell to replace Adams. This shift continues the radio network's pattern of hiring artists a hosts.

Starting in May, Erica Campbell will replace Adams. Beginning on May 10, Radio One listeners will be able t rise and shine to "Get Up! Morning With Erica Campbell.

A devoted wife and mother of three Erica shares her life with the world on her televised reality show, Mary Mary. Mornings with Erica Campbell is the next natural progression of her career to extend her audience and share the life, music and inspiration that makes her – ERICA.
