Kesha's BBMA performance is back on

buzzz worthy. . .

Kesha's previously cancelled Billboard Music Awards comeback performance is back on.

"We are pleased that Kesha and Kemosabe Records have reached an agreement and very much look forward to having Kesha perform on the Billboard Music Awards this Sunday night on ABC," dick clark productions said in a statement to Billboard.

On Tuesday, May 19 Billboard released a statement explaining why the performance was nixed.

"Kesha’s performance on the Billboard Music Awards was always approved, in good faith. Approval was only suspended when Kemosabe learned Kesha was to use the performance as a platform to discuss the litigation. Now that Kemosabe has obtained assurances, that it is relying upon, from Kesha, her representatives, and Dick Clark Productions that neither Kesha nor her supporters will use the performance as such a platform, the approval has been restored," the statement reads.

Kesha has been trying to get out her contract with Dr. Luke in a legal dispute.  She accused him of making sexual advances and forcing her to remain in a contract. Lukes label, Kemosabe Records rescinded the previous agreement to allow their artist to perform over fear she would mention their legal issues on stage. On Instagram Kesha stated that she wanted to participate in the tribute segment to the legendary Bob Dylan and her performance would not have referred to Dr. Luke in any way.

Kesha's fans were planning to show heir support to the beleaguered "Timber" singer by boycotting the show.  A petition from Care 2 and Michael Eisele may have pressured Dr. Luke to reverse their decision.

Their statement read:

"Myself and other Kesha supporters are boycotting the Billboard Music Awards unless Dr. Luke allows her to perform," Eisele told Care2. "It's absolutely ridiculous how he continues to ignore the public outcry over his denial of Kesha's creative freedom. Myself and the 230,600 people who have signed the Care2 petition to free Kesha will continue to fight back against Dr. Luke's cruel and sexist suppression."

Now that all parties have been assured the BBMA platform won't be used to air out their messy legal matters Kesha has been added back on the show.

The Billboard Music Awards air this Sunday (May 22) at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on ABC.
