LOS ANGELES - AUGUST 31, 2016 - The cast of the TV One original film Ringside and members of the press gathered together last Friday, August 26 for a high-impact, boxing inspired workout at hip, new gym space, The Body Los Angeles.

Written, produced and directed by nationally syndicated radio host Russ Parr (Hear No Evil, The Undershepherd, 35 and Ticking), Ringside stars Tyler Lepley (The Haves and the Have Nots, Baggage Claim) as undefeated boxer Jaxon Hollie and explores the personal battles he faces outside of the ring while preparing for the biggest fight of his career. Jackie Long (Real Husbands of Hollywood), Raney Branch ( Grey's Anatomy, The Originals), Da'Vone McDonald (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and Tequan Richmond (Everybody Hates Chris, Ray, Blue Caprice) round out the cast. They were all in attendance at the faux fight night, which was sponsored by sports apparel company PUMA.

Ringside premieres on TV One on Sunday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. ET with an immediate encore at 9 p.m. ET and an additional airing on Sunday, Sept. 11 at 5 p.m. ET.

Winans, Sr. has wed his long time girlfriend Deneen R. Carter. Carter is a 57-year-old physical therapist and minister at Perfecting Church in Detroit, founded by Winans. Little is known about the bride publicly. The gospel legend introduced the now Mrs. Winans as his fiance to the congregants of Perfecting in October of 2021.
