NBC fall 2019 programs announced

NBC will premiere 3 new shows this fall with “The Voice” once again kicking  off the season on Monday, Sept. 23 at 8 p.m. The new Jimmy Smits-led legal drama, “Bluff City Law” will air right after it.

NBC is keeping its Tuesday night lineup the same as it was in 2018 as well, with “The Voice,” “This is Us,” and “New Amsterdam” all returning to their usual time slots on Sept. 24. “Chicago Med,” “Chicago Fire,” and “Chicago P.D.” are all set to premiere the following Wednesday night, as NBC sticks with its successful “One Chicago” lineup from this past season.
Thursday, Sept. 26 will feature the debut of the network’s new comedy lineup, starting with the return of “Superstore” at 8 p.m., which will be followed by the series premiere of “Perfect Harmony.” “The Good Place” will, meanwhile, kick off its final season at 9 p.m., leading into the debut of “Sunnyside.” The record-breaking 21st season premiere of “Law & Order: SVU” will cap off the night for the network.
“The Blacklist” is being held one week later than the network’s other fall scripted shows, and is set to premiere its seventh season on Friday, Oct. 4, at 8 p.m. A rerun of the “Bluff City Law” premiere is set to fill its time slot the week prior.

The Good Place will premier in its final season on Thursday,  September 26.

Winans, Sr. has wed his long time girlfriend Deneen R. Carter. Carter is a 57-year-old physical therapist and minister at Perfecting Church in Detroit, founded by Winans.
