NOTHING YET IN IMPEACHMENT PROBE EXCEPT TRUMP ENGAGES IN WITNESS INTIMIDATION ON TWITTER

IMPEACHMENT UPDATE...

By Mona Austin
(The Slice): Witness intimidation was a focus of exploration on day-2 of the impeachment hearing. Former Ukraine Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch told Democrat counsels she felt intimidated by the president tweeting @ her while she was giving her testimony. Chairman of the Intel Committee Adam Schiff read aloud a tweet from Pres. Trump live tweeted that things "went bad" wherever she showed up, an action some are calling impeachable itself some pundits say. The witness admitted that she felt intimidated by the tweet and Schiff opined that is it what was "designed" to do.

Daniel Goldman, a former legal analyst for MSNBC, was appointed by Schiff to act as Democratic Counsel. posed multiple questions to Yovanovitch about her sudden dismissal from a post she held for 33 years. This part of the discovery revealed the Rudy Guiliani worked to have her fired. Yovanovitch agreed that in those business dealings in question there was a move to blame the Ukraine and absolve Vladmir Putin of meddling i in the 2016 election.

The jist of the Yovanovitch testimony is that it did more show the president wielded his power in a manner that many would deem prejudicial toward her for personal gain, but that is a matter of opinion and circumstantial reasoning, but not hard proof. Democrats ended the day with spontaneous applause for Yovanovitch in appreciation for her service as a career diplomat.

However, the questioning by Democrats were unsuccessful in support their bribery and abuse of power claims in this phase of the probe. When a Republican inquired as to whether the former Ambassador was aware of criminal activity in the Ukraine she said "no."

It appears that the Democrat's strategy is to build up to an eruptive witness testimony. While they are taking their time, the Republicans continues to repeat the process is a hoax without proof of any impeachable faults on the part of President Trump.

At the end of the day, the Democrats have nothing yet that demonstrates and impeachable offense directly.
