With decades of experience in the entertainment industry, Allen is renowned for her work on Fame and more recently, Grey's Anatomy.
Says Allen, "I am living the Easy Spirit ethos that age is nothing but a number and that anything is possible when you're comfortable. I am an executive producer, who, at 70 years old, is doing more work now than ever. I stand on my feet all the time. I'm directing, I'm teaching at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, I'm acting, I'm taking care of my mom. I like Easy Spirit shoes because they are supportive, and they feel good. You can't be on your feet all day without the right footwear."

The Easy Spirit "Live Your Best Life Now" campaign celebrates power, beauty and wisdom of women over 50, who are multi-faceted, vibrant, active, and are in the prime of their lives through a video and still life campaign highlighting Allen living her best life. The campaign will live on easyspirit.com and Easy Spirit social channels and Debbie Allen's own channels. Easy Spirit is inspired by Debbie Allen—she moves for so many things, including founding her non-profit, the Debbie Allen Dance Academy in Los Angeles and inspiring others to keep moving in Easy Spirit.

In addition, the Easy Spirit "Live Your Best Life Now" campaign showcases six additional inspirational women age 50 plus on easyspirit.com and social channels who are living their best lives now, including a 9/11 widower and founder of a kindness non-profit, a cancer survivor and fashion designer, and a wellness expert and bodybuilder. The campaign highlights what they #MoveFor in their lives with an intention to inspire and reinforce that Easy Spirit keeps women moving comfortably at every age. These women, along with up to 30 other ambassadors and influencers, will amplify the empowering "Live Your Best Life Now" message on their social media channels beginning the second week of March.

Shanya Perera, VP of Marketing, Advertising and PR for Marc Fisher Footwear says, "Women over 50 are unfortunately an underserved demographic—they are wise, beautiful, vibrant and they have so much going on in their lives, but this not often reflected in media and advertising. The Easy Spirit "Live Your Best Life Now" campaign and our partnership with Debbie Allen aims to shift the focus to showcase women over 50 and to tell the stories of women who are an inspiration to us all. At Easy Spirit, we believe anything is possible when you're comfortable. And we think this campaign reflects that age shouldn't be taboo but more about feeling comfortable in your own skin. Easy Spirit shoes are designed for support, ease and flexibility for all that women move for in their lives and we hope to inspire women to keep moving at every age."

The campaign will include a "Live Your Best Life Now" sweepstakes with a grand prize package worth over $5,000. Entrants will share how they are living their best lives now on easyspirit.com to enter for a chance to win the curated prize, which includes gift cards for JetBlue, Master Class Online, Book Club of the Month, Blue Apron, a spring wardrobe of Easy Spirit shoes and more to support her multi-faceted life and keep her moving.
With the promise of keeping women moving, in partnership with the citywide Los Angeles International Dance Festival founded and organized by Debbie Allen and Nigel Lythgoe for April 2020, Easy Spirit will sponsor a dance class specifically designed for women over 50, led by Debbie Allen wearing shoes from the Easy Spirit spring collection.
