Trump's fourth press secretary debuts at press briefing vowing she will never lie; banters wit reporter

The new Whit House Secretary Kayleigh McEneny held her fort press briefing on May 1.
(The Slice): Pres. Trump's new Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany says White House daily briefings are back and she will not lie to the American people in her first press briefing. White House journalists got a preview of her style in a press gaggle the day before on April 30.
“I will never lie to you, you have my word on that,” said McEnany. replying to a direct question from a reporter.
McEnany, a former CNN analyst, is no stranger to the media. She has been actively defending the president on Twitter since she filled the position over two weeks ago. McEnany, holds the dual role of being the press lead for the Trump re-election campaign. and the chief White House Spokesperson Also a birther, ideologically she is like the president in a skirt. She is a birther.
She said she plans to resume daily press briefings which started back with a handful of reporters being allowed to cover the Coronavirus Task Force and the president as they provided updates on the government's response to COVID-19. Those briefings are beginning to fizzle out after Pres. Trump complained about unfair coverage

A Georgetown graduate, McEnany brandished her spit-fire delivery. Although she came across as a straight-shooter and staunch defender of the president's policies, McEnany ran in to a snag in her debut as she bantered with ABC reporter Jonathan Karl on statements about the FBI's unfair treatment of Gen. Michael Flynn. Recently DOJ released documents revealed that the FBI wanted Flynn to lie and continued an investigation after he had transitioned out of his role, essentially indicating he was wrongfully prosecuted, which the Press Secretary condemned.

(Flynn has always maintained his innocence and is trying to get the case dismissed. Pence said recently he did not believe Flynn intended to misrepresent the truth.

The way Press Secretary mentioned the news about Flynn suggests she is critical of WH press.
"Look, there's again a case of injustice that has yet to be brought up today, but I certainly would like to bring it up," McEnany said. "And that's the case of Gen. Michael Flynn. What we have all learned from that should scare every American citizen."
“Kayleigh … when the president fired Michael Flynn, he said he was doing so because he had lied to the vice president and he had lied to the FBI,” Karl said. “So given all that you’ve just said, isn’t it still true, doesn’t the president still believe that Michael Flynn lied to Vice President Pence and lied to the FBI?”

“Well, first let me address that. Vice President Pence is on the record about this,” McEnany responded. “He said he’s inclined to believe that Flynn did not intentionally mislead him, and I guess I would turn the question on you and just ask, does it trouble you that the FBI said, ‘We got to get Flynn to lie?’ Doesn’t that trouble you as a journalist? And not only that, as an American citizen?”
Karl reminded her that it was not his job to say if it troubled him.
McEnany identifies as a Christian and was wearing a cross necklace. A new mom, before leaving the podium she ended the briefing saying she had to go attend to her 5-month-old. baby, a daughter.
