The plan lays out demands to politicians/the government designed to advance the social, economic and political interests of Blacks who he sees as powerful economic drivers in American society. The California rapper and businessman said he has worked with Democrats and Republicans in developing his reparation plans centered on racial ineqaulity and says he is open to working with others in an "all hands on deck" approach to push it forth.

Anothet Tweet indicated the Trump campaign had permission to acknowledge Ice Cube had worked with them, which many of his suporters inteprested as support for the POTUS's re-election. In 2016, 13% of Black men voted for Trump.
The "Platinum Plan" was released by the Trump Administration after the "Fuc* the Police" artist, now 51, advised them on it. It is a four-year plan consisting of reform measures in policing and education, in addition to a $500 billion package for Blacks that aims to create 3 million new jobs and 500,000 new Black-owned businesses, ultimately giving the Black community access to capital.

Ice Cube explained that he was contacted by both the Trump and Joe Biden team. He says he has not spoken directly to Trump and has not endorsed him.

Many expessed they were upset that Black people can be bought.
Well aware of the plight of African Americans, Ice Cube's contract was“written in the backdrop of the killing of George Floyd, which set off a wave of protests not seen since the Civil Rights Era of the 1950’s and ’60’s, and a global pandemic in which the Black mortality rate is more than double the White rate and in which 45% (nearly half) of Black-owned businesses closed.”
Criticism of the rapper immediately erupted with one Twitter poster commenting that he was saddened that Ice Cube is “working for the Darkside.” Reflecting his motives are not party-specific, the visonary wrote, “Every side is the Darkside for us [Blacks] here in America. They’re all the same until something changes for us. They all lie and they all cheat but we can’t afford not to negotiate with whoever is in power or our condition in this country will never change. Our justice is bipartisan.”
Responding to criticism that he is now “working for the Darkside,” Ice Cube wrote, “Every side is the Darkside for us here in America. They’re all the same until something changes for us. Ignoring the critics, the California based entertainer said on the Roland Martin Show that he is seeking input and is open to working with Black leaders and experts to fine tune the plan. Senators Corey Booker and Kamala Harris have put forth the HR 40 Commission to study the particulars of issuing reparations. Ice Cube says he is not minimizing the work that has already been done.
The Contract with Black America is a serious initative directed toward changing legislation at the Congressional level. It covers issues form judicial reform to FCC licensing. The first action item outlined in the proposal is to put the plan to a vote within the first 100 days of the Congressional session in 2021. He said politicians should not get black votes if they can not literally sign on to support the broad measures he defined in the document.
