Kristen Welker To Moderate Third Debate and Trump, FOX News hosts are Already Discrediting Her

 (The Slice):

This Thursday America wil see Pres. Donald Trump and Joe Biden face each other for the final time ahead of the november 3 electin. NBC White House Correspondent Kristen Welker will moderate the third and final presidential debate at Tennesse's Belmont University. A Harvard graduate and native of Philadelphia, Welker is a seasoned journalist with many years of experience grilling politicians, presidents and press secretaries.

Welker announced on Saturday that she will cover six topics:

- Fighting COVID-19
- American families
- Race in America
- Climate change
- National security
- Leadership
President Trump criticized the moderator on Saturday over Twitter.

The president shared a tweet from his son Don Jr. linking to a New York Post report on Welker’s “deep Democratic ties,” citing her parents donated to the party.

"She’s always been terrible & unfair, just like most of the Fake News reporters, but I’ll still play the game," Trump said in a tweet inplying Welker will be biased. "The people know!"

By Monday morning, FOX & Friends News hosts echoed the POTUS's negative opinion about Welker. Brian Kilmeade expressed that he did not care for the topics, snidely remarking that Barack Obama must have selected them for the social focus of the topics.

"It's unbelievable, if those debates come up, I'm looking at these topics," Kilmeade said. "Where's foreign policy, where's the economy? We're talking about American families, race in America, climate change—who wrote this up, Barack Obama?"

In response, co-host Ainsley Earhardt told him the topics where chosen by the moderator. Kilmeade launched ito criticizing Welker.

"And this moderator, whose parents are Democratic donators, who was a registered Democrat before, who has the most hostile questions possible to Kayleigh McEnany, or whoever the press secretary is, and the president," Kilmeade said. "How does she get picked to be the moderator at this debate? It's incredible."

Trump opted out of the second debate instead of facing his rival virtually.

Airing on NBC, the last debate begins at 8 p.m. CDT and will run for 90 minutes without commercial interruption.
