Biden approved the deployment of 3000 troop to Eastern Europe as an act of solidarity with NATO. The pentagon said the mission is combat centered but the US stand ready to adjust to condition there as tension between Russia and Ukraine mount.

She apologized almost immediately on Twitter and then again on Tuesday's episode of The View. Her apology was noted in the statement the network issued Tuesday evening. “Effective immediately, I am suspending Whoopi Goldberg for two weeks for her wrong and hurtful comments,” reads a statement attributed to Kim Godwin, president at ABC News. "While Whoopi has apologized, I've asked her to take time to reflect and learn about the impact of her comments," Godwin added. "The entire ABC News organization stands in solidarity with our Jewish colleagues, friends, family and communities." Godwin is also African American.
