PREVIEW -- Tony Terry and Kadeem Hardison kick off new season of TV ONE'S “UNSUNG” and “UNCENSORED”


SILVER SPRING, Md. (September 22, 2022) - All-new episodes of TV One’s original docu-series, “UNSUNG” and “UNCENSORED” debut Sunday, September 25. UNSUNG” leads with R&B favorite Tony Terry at 9 p.m. ET/8C followed by “UNCENSORED” featuring award-winning actor and entertainer Kadeem Hardison at 10 p.m. ET/9C. Each episode will be published on TV One’s website TVOne.tv.


UNSUNG: Tony Terry
This week's episode of "UNSUNG" highlights R&B icon Tony Terry. The talented singer rose to fame in the late 80s and early 90s but has stayed busy both on records and the stage for over a quarter century. The DC native began as a backing vocalist for the pop act Sweet Sensation before being signed by Epic Records in 1987. Terry’s debut album, Forever Yours, landed two top 10 singles in “Lovey Dovey” and “She’s Fly.” His signature song came two years later when the beautiful love ballad “With You” became an across-the-board smash. Now, he shares the journey of his early success, experiencing longevity in the entertainment industry and clears the air in his own words. 

UNSUNG,” one of the network’s longest-running and award-winning series, highlights the careers and explores the personal lives of some of the most talented and influential Black artists, performers and musicians in history.

SILVER SPRING, Md. (September 22, 2022) - Directly following “UNSUNG” is the return of the hit, autobiographical series “UNCENSORED”, which explores the lives of popular celebrities and personalities as they provide first-hand accounts of their successes and the obstacles they faced throughout their careers. The premiere episode highlights award-winning actor and icon Kadeem Hardison. While best known for his career defining role as Dwayne Wayne in the classic “A Different World”, Kadeem transparently and authentically shares the story of his nearly four-decade career. 
 
UNCENSORED: Kadeem Hardison
The hit autobiographical series, "UNCENSORED", explores the lives of your favorite personalities as they provide first-hand accounts of their success and the obstacles they faced throughout their careers. This week’s episode highlights Kadeem Hardison. He is best known for playing Dwayne Wayne in the hit sitcom "A Different World". Born in Brooklyn, New York, he studied acting at New York City’s Eubie Blake Theater, eventually making his debut at the age of 16 with the anthology series "ABC Afterschool Specials". After winning a number of honors and awards, he is now opening up about his journey in his upcoming episode of "UNCENSORED".
