Kellyanne Conway stays at White House despite Hatch Act violatiobs

The US Office of Special Counsel says that Kellyanne Conway should be fired for repeatedly violating the Hatch Act. The watchdog group cites several times Conway has made disparaging remarks about Democrats while working in an official capacity. Steven Groves, White House Deputy Press Secretary said the group's interpretation of the Act is strongly flawed.

If it is left up to Pres. Trump, Conway's job is secure. Trump said he is not going to fire her.

A separate groups is pressing the issue with a petition for Conway's dismissal.
