2020 Golden Globe nominees list and airing schedule
Award show season kicks off with the 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards Sunday night at 8 p.m. (that's 5 o'clock for West Coast viewers). Hosted by Ricky Gervais the ceremony will air on NBC and stream live on the NBC website YouTube TV, Sling TV and Hulu's live TV service. Tom Hanks will be recognized for Lifetime Achievement with the Cecil B. Demille Award while Ellen Degeneres will be the second recipient of the Carol Burnett Award. Cynthia Orivo is nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for her starring role in "Harriett." “Marriage Story” leads with six nominations for film, followed by Martin Scorsese’s “ The Irishman ” and Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” with five each. HBO’s “Chernobyl,” Netflix’s “The Crown” and “Unbelievable” swept TV nominations with four a piece.
