Despite not being able to secure the purchase of BET in what he called a "disrespectful" deal, the multi-hyphenate is at the top of his game. Perry has signed another 8-film expanded agreement with Netflix to write produce and direct feature films for the streamer. He was already working on the highly anticipated film "Six Triple Eight”, the real-life story of the only all-Black woman 6888th battalion that saved and optimized mail delivery during World War II.
