BRYAN ANDREW WILSON'S “TURNING AWAY” REFLECTS SINGER'S GROWTH, MATURITY

It's been five years since fans have heard from Bryan Andrew Wilson musically.    The  studio CD,  “The One Percent” (EchoPark JDI Entertainment)  was released in the USA and Canada on Tuesday.   Upon his return, the DC-based minister, who got his start at the age of 10 as a soloist singing  “His Eye is on the Sparrow” with The Mississippi Children’s Choir in 1994, wants fans to hear the maturity of  his natural and spiritual voice.    “This album reflects who I am as a grown man and a believer more than any other album I’ve recorded,” Wilson says. “Turning Away” the project's lead single debuted at #29 on Billboard Gospel Airplay chart and at #23 on the Mediabase Gospel chart – his highest charting radio single since his days as a teen gospel star in the 1990s. Bryan Wilson sweeps the South with ministry dates and new song, "Expect You Now"

buzzz worthy. . . Veteran gospel singer Bryan Wilson is preparing to sweep through the South next week with a series of ministry dates. The Apostle of the Bapolstogic Movement (a 501C3 organization to reintroduce old school Pentecost to a new generation of believers) will also be promoting his Bryan’s Songs/Worldwide Gospel radio single, “Expect You Now.” The song came to Wilson during a worship service two years ago. “The song is a simple one,” he says. “The pastor was praying over people during an altar call and I got up and started singing what they call ` a song of the Lord.’ When people go to the altar, they are expecting God to change them or change their situation so I started to sing, Lord, we expect you now’ and after the service people asked me if that was on one of my CDs and I said, `Not yet but it will be.’” The soul-stirring track has been simmering at radio for several weeks and earning enthusiastic thumbs up from radio programmers. “B ryan Wilson did his thang on E...
