Library of Congress names Lauren Hill's 'Miseducation', Sly Stone, Steve Martin, and others to National Treasures

National Recording Registry To “Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive” Joan Baez, Sly Stone, Steve Martin, Recordings Named American Treasures   The "Miseducation of Lauren Hill" is also notably among the 25  recordings named "National Treasures" for the year 2014. The Doors’ debut album; the magical essence of New Orleans jazz; one of the most-played songs on the airways during the 20th century; the "Lovin’ Feelin’" of the Righteous Brothers; and the sounds of a pioneering children’s program are among the recordings recently selected for induction into the Library of Congress National Recording Registry.
