Award Show produced by BET Networks.   The White House says, as a part of the First Lady’s “Reach Higher” initiative, which encourages young people to pursue and complete their education past high school, she will deliver remarks celebrating the M.A.D (Making A Difference) Girls and recognizing the value each has placed on their education.   Like the women who will be honored at the event, First Lady Obama is constantly making moves to have a positive effect on others.  All month long she has celebrated the Fifth Anniversary of  the "Let's Move campaign," which was designed to reduce childhood obesity and promote healthy eating and exercise among American families.
