A Life Lived and Served 1960 - 2010 Celebrated makeup artist, Roxanna Floyd, died unexpectedly in her sleep at her home in the Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn, New York on Thursday afternoon, January 28, 2010. Roxie, as her friends called her, was born in Brooklyn, New York, on September 23, 1960 and lived in the borough her entire life. Roxanna was a devout Christian, a faithful wife and daughter and an only child. Her viewing will take place Friday, February 5, 2010, 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. followed by a wake service, 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. The funeral will take place on Saturday, February 6, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. Both the wake and funeral will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 279 Lafayette Avenue, Brooklyn, New York, 11238. Interment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Putnam Valley, New York.
