Mrs. Rock reacted to Will SMith slappin her son at eh Oscars in an interveiw on South Carolina's saying, "When he slapped my son," he salpped me. She thinks the the 10 year banishment from the Academy's governing body was a slap on the wrist. She asked, "What's that?", noting that Oscars attendance does not occur yearly. She thinks Smith's team crafted and insufficient apology that was posted to Instagram and that the King Ricahrd actors should have contacted her son and apologized personally.
