FIRST LADY MELANIA TRUMP: Menu and details on the Australian Visit and State Dinner at the White House

Trump welcomed Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Mrs. Jennifer Morrison of Australia to the White House for an Official Visit and State Dinner, the country's second visit in 18 years. This is the second formal state dinner in the Trump Administration, following Emmanuel Macron of France. (The president has stated he is not fond of the pricey engagements.) The pomp and circumstance involved an inspection of troops and a 19-gun salute and will end with dinner and entertainment Friday evening. The Australian leader and delegation last visited the White house in 2011. As members of he Five Eyes intelligence alliance, the two countries have a deeply aboding partnership over several areas.
