Grammy winning gospel artist Israel Houghton announced via a Facebook statement today that he and his wife Meleasa divorced following a long separation. "I failed and sinned in my marriage," he admitted. Israel has publicly shared the story of how he met his wife at a church event in Philadelphia and they wed five months later.
