His first album released in 2000 was entitled "Country Grammar," suggesting Nelly knew soething about rural life.  He infused a Southern twang or drawl into the music that put him on the map. That year, showing his interest in country was authentic he collaborated with Tim McGraw on "Over and Over," a genre-bending collaboration.  Nelly later teamed up with Florida Georgia Line on the r emix of "Cruise,"  which is the top-selling digital country single of all time according to Rolling Stone.
