The House has introduced 1 article of impeachment at its first meeting in the Congressional chamber since the Capitol attack last Wednesday

  ( The Slice): House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has given Vice Pres. Mike Pence 24 hours to respond to removing Pres. Donald Trump from office by invoking the 25th amendment. Some Republicans along with Trump view Pence, who was a direct target of mob danger during the Capitol insurrrection, as a traitor. This is one of two options lawmakers are considering to eject Pres. Trump from office for threatening the U.S. government. The other option is impeachment which would shift priorities for the incoming Biden-Harrus adminiatration. On Monday, House Resolution 21 was introduced to fomally request Pence's intervention. One article od impeachment accusing the presidenf of inciting an insurrection was also introduced. In order for this approach to work, the cabinet would need to vote and 2 members have already resigned, making this an unlikely option. The American people are exhausted and want to see action on impeachment once and for all. Moving forward is going to be rocky for the nation. When the walls come tumbling down in Washington as they soon will, the impact will be felt all over the nation among all parties. The nation is literally split down the middle on the prospect of removing Pres. Donald Trump from office. Withe the impeachment proceeding underway, there is If impeached, does the president go or does he stay? Is VP Pence next in line? Surprisingly, the answer to that question is, "not necessarily." There are many technicalities surrounding these questions. Usually, the Vice President is next in line to lead the nation in the case of death or removal of the president, but under other circumstances, when the POTUS is alive, such as impeachment, ...

After a weekend of contentious foreign affairs talks abroad and resignations of key figures during the week prior, key in on improvements to an economy that Pres. Obama left in stable condition. Avoiding raised taxes and keeping jobs stateside are the areas of focus stemming formt eh campaign trail. On today's agenda, Trump and Pence are in the process of rolling out economic reform to the nation. POTUS is spending time at the White House discuss the federal budget with senior staffers this morning and says he wants to help hard working Americans keep more of their money and the federal government to spend more responsibly according to Press Sec. Sean Spicer. VP Pence is in St. Louis today to sit in on listening sessions with American workers at Fabick Cat and deliver remarks on the nation's plan for an economic comeback.
