OPINION: True Evangelicals can not support Donald Trump
buzzz worthy. . . By Mona Austin This is not the same Dr. James Dobson most of Americ a knows. Donald Trump's name could easily be substituted in the aforementioned quote. He was married at the time of the tape scandal, is allegedly associated with the mob, is often angry and obnoxious and been accused of tampering with the funds of his charity. His reputation is blemished and he lacks political experience. The list of infractions Trump had accumulated before the debates started was inappropriate enough. Yet, Dobson has completely pivoted from Christian conservatism in favor of the real estate titan, saying he likes that Trump will protect religious liberties and appoint a conservative to the Supreme Court. Trump as POTUS would strip the presidency of all of its dignity.
