It's a name you will be hearing a lot in the coming months. Not only should you know her name because she directed and co-wrote "Selma", one of the most anticipated films of 2014, but also because she is the first Black female director to be nominated for a Golden Globe for her work on it. "Selma" itself been nominated for several GG's including the coveted Best Motion Picture ahead of its Christmas Day release. Be sure to check it out.
