  (The Slice): Pres. Trump has changed his mind about participating in the next debate. The second debate in Miami next Thursday is currently in limbo over a format change. The Commission on Presidential Debates wants candidates to debate from remote locations, they announced after the Vice Presidential debate -- a move they made to "protect the health and safety of those involved." Liability for the spread of Coronavirus, with which Pres. Donald Trump is infected, may have prompted the Presidential Commission on Debates' decision to replace the in-person format with a virtual one. The Vice Presidential Debate ticket had a disclaimer on it stating members of the audience will not hold the Commission on Presidential Debates or the event host liable for any sickness including COVID-19.   Pres. Trump is leaving Walter Reed Medical Center today Trump tweets that he will leave hospital Monday evening and will continue COVID-19 recovery from the White House. Earlier he tweeted. "Don't be afraid of COVID. Don't let it dominate your life." He downplayed the affects of the disease, tweeting the following: "I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!" There are over 209,000 people who have died from Coronavirus and Americans to do not have access to the same level of care as the president. Causation does not always equal correlation. President Donald Trump Let's talk about the soul of America. I don't recognize my country anymore. When I look around, this is what I see. . . People are tensely navigating life wearing masks appearing to be zombies. Blood and smoke fill our streets from civil unrest. Toppled statues are crumbled on the ground in cities where some people are tired of being reminded of the past those statues symbolize. In public places, people act out more aggressively using insulting words and gestrures. Some of us are using our rights and freedom to be inconsiderate and harmfuil to others. Families are pulling up by the van loads to get food assitance as millions of American workers are out of jobs. From fires to hurricanes and earthquakes, we have not gotten a break from bad weather impacting some part of the country. This is a feast or famine, survival of the fittest environment. This groups included some of the ususal supporters who show up when there is an initiative involving Blacks. Form the optics and energ in the East room on tis particular night seemd to contradict the logn-standing narrative that Trump is unpopular among African Americans. The White House continues to exaggerate about the president's support for African Americans and the economic progress of the group. From meeting with Black pastors and supporters to  bragging about support for Blacks in tweets,t the president and several of his staff members are spinning the truth about their relationship with the Black community.  Trump has yet to address the tragedies Blacks have faced throughout his entire presidency.  While there are programs ear-marked for African Americans the Trump Administration fails gravely on social...

(The Slice): Over a thousand people are missing after Hurricane Dorian left 70% of the island in ruins and Pres. Donald Trump is saying that Bahamians seeking temporary refuge in the U.S.  must be carefully vetted before entering the country. "We have to be very careful. Everybody needs totally proper documentation because the Bahamas had some tremendous problems with people going to the Bahamas that weren't supposed to be there," Trump said on the White House South Lawn before departing for a campaign rally in North Carolina. The president has not been known to make such upfront  distinctions about citizens of other countries who have been forced to flee imminent or direct danger. Trump picked a fight with a feisty celeb who happens to be a Twitter heavyweight, Chrissy Tiegen. Pres. Trump is upset that John Legend, Chrissy Tiegen's hubby, is not giving him credit for signing the First Step Act into law. Legend appeared on NBC with Lester Holt to promote voter empowerment and addressed criminal justice. Kim Kardashian visited the White House and thanked the president for his work on the First Step Act for which she had used her celebrityluence as an advocate. The president clearly expected other celebs to act in kind. Legend's wife used a vulgar expression for his whining about this which started trending as #pab .
