Hollywood is gradually getting back on track with award show season as the Golden Globes finally announced 2021 nominees Wednesday morning. Yes, both Viola Davis and the late Chadwick Bozeman and "Lovecraft Country" are on the list as are many shows America fell in love with during quarantine, unable to visit movie theaters--most of which air on Netflix that has an astounding total of 42 nominations. But, "Bridgerton," one of the top shows in Netflix history was royally snubbed, which is a sort of dethroning of her Majesty Shonda Rhimes who created it. Since the Globes are considered a rough gauge for award shows to come, not recognizing a show that was almost instantly renewed and one of Netflix's most popular offerings says that the powers that be did not see and appreciate what fans saw.
