By Mona Austin (TSN): President Joe Biden spoke to a group of governors in person and virtually to reassure them he is equipped for the job but needs more rest. He admitted he has been fatigued and will be getting more sleep. After being criticized for a low-energy performance and the ensuing debate fallout a week ago the 81-year-old leader says he is ending his workday at 8 PM. Vice Pres. Kamala Harris joined him on the call saying that she is fully in support of the decision, which will increase her workload. The adjustment would be practice for Harris should they win re-election and she is required to step up as his replacement in the future. The consensus among governors has been generally affirming toward Biden continuing on yet some have raised concerns in a separate governor-only call and in interviews.
