'Star Trek: The Next Generation' 25-Year Reunion Set for Wizard World New Orleans As Main Cast Members Join Patrick Stewart
It has been 25 years since "Star Trek: The Next Generation," hit the air. Now, seven main members of that historic show will reunite as Patrick Stewart (Captain Jean-Luc Picard), Jonathan Frakes (Commander William T. Riker), LeVar Burton (Lt. Commander Geordi La Forge), Michael Dorn (Lieutenant Worf), Marina Sirtis (Counselor Deanna Troi), Brent Spiner (Lt. Commander Data) and Gates McFadden (Dr. Beverly Crusher) will attend Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con, Nov. 30 - Dec. 2 at New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The series, which ran for seven seasons from 1987 through 1994, garnered 18 daytime Emmys and was a hugely successful follow-up to the original "Star Trek" from two decades earlier. The seven stars are also scheduled to appear at this month's Austin Comic Con in what would be the first gathering of the group in the U.S. since "TNG" first aired.
