By Mona Austin (TSN): Former Pres. Donald Trump is updating his tactics to appeal to donors to remain in the 2024 presidential race after a blow to his electability this week. On Friday he released a video message to supporters following the U.S. Supreme Court decision not to fast track a case focused on whether he can be prosecuted for his involvement in attempting to subvert 2020 presidential election results. Special Counsel Jack Smith submitted a plea to speed up the process. This is a welcome delay for Trump and his team but he is still facing many more legal challenges. Earlier this week Trump's name was removed from the ballot in Colorado by the State Supreme Court's decision. Judges who ruled against him were targeted with credible death threats and critics claimed Trump's negative tweets after the ruling prompted them.
