James Ingram Feb 16, 1952 - Jan 29, 2019 James Ingram, multi-Grammy-award winning R&B legend who rose to prominence in the 80's has died of brain cancer at the age of 66. Long time friend Debbie Allen announced his passing via social media: " I have lost my dearest friend and creative partner James Ingram to the Celestial Choir. He will always be cherished, loved and remembered for his genius, his love of family and his humanity. I am blessed to have been so close. We will forever speak his name."
