BEBE AND CECE WINANS TO RECEIVE WALK OF FAME STAR

buzzz worthy. . . Multi-Grammy award winning gospel act BeBe and CeCe Winans' celebrated career will be honored with the 2,452nd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday,  October 20.  They began singing professionally  in 1982 as members of the PTL Singers. Known for their contemporary R&B style the Detroit natives are a bright reflection of the Winans gospel music dynasty.  They have sang in tandem for over 20 years as well as enjoyed  success as solo artists.  After a 13-year hiatus from recording, BeBe and CeCe released the highly acclaimed "Still" in 2009.  Among their top recordings are "Heaven," "Addictive Love," "If Anything Ever Happened to You" and "It's Okay."  The Walk of Fame distinction solidifies BeBe and CeCe's place among gospel royals Mahalia Jackson, James Cleveland and Andrae Crouch who also have stars. 2011 Stellar Award Winners

Winners of the the 26th Annual Stellar Awards were announced at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN last night.  Yours truly was on the scene backstage to cover the celebrity gifting, fashion trends, and Stellar Award events and activities.  So stay tuned for all the deets.  Marvin Sapp led the winners taking home four golden flamed statues followed by a three win tie between James Fortune (one individual, two with James Fortune & FIYA) and  BeBe and CeCe Winans (one as individuals and two as a duo). 2011 Grammy Award Nominations Recap, Gospel Nominees & Predictions

Eminem received 10 nominations for the 53rd Grammy Awards The nominees in the top five categories for the 2011 Grammy Awards were announced on Dec. 1 in a live telecast on CBS.  LL Cool J hosted the show at Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles with announcements being made by celebrity presenters. The full list of nominess in all other categories can be viewed at http://www.grammys.com/ .  Eminem tops the list with 10 Grammy nominations for the come back album, "Recovery,"  including a nod for Album of theYear. I'm hoping to see Marshall (his real name) and Rihanna rock "Love the Way You Lie" at the Grammys, which was nominated for Song of the Year. R&B's soulfully sleek El Debarge also made a valiant comeback this year, earning two Grammy nominations for " Second Chance" ( Best Male R & B Vocal Performance and Best R & B Song.)
