buzzz worthy. . . My heart skipped a beat when I read about parents learning of their daughter Jasmine Benjamin's death on Facebook. Jasmine was a 17-year old nursing student at Valadosta State University in Georgia.One of her firnds posted comments about her passing on Facebook before the administration contacted her family. Her body was found in a study room where investigators say it lay for 15 hours. Initially it was reported that she died of natural causes, but this time lapse caused enough suspicion to turn the incident into a murder investigation. But how could the death of a popular student on a campus of 12,000 not be discovered for so may hours? Along with grieving over their loss the parents are now wondering if someone took their child's life. This news saddens me.
