His memory has lived on through the annals of history as a heroic abolitionist. A recent article revered Douglass as "A king among men." Note to The Atlantic writer who wrote those words in the article Memo to the White House on the Contributions of Frederick Douglass -- applying t hat very Biblical reference to Douglass is an overstatement.
