The music organization will extend one of its highest honors to the four-time Grammy winner at the gala benefit on January 24 in Los Angeles. In May of 2013 the White House recognized King's contribution to music with a performance given in her honor, “Carole King: The Library of Congress Gershwin Prize In Performance at the White House.” King performed and was feted by artists such as Patti Austin and Arturo Sandoval. Another slew of world class entertainers will salute the "Natural Woman" writer at the Grammy event. Dixie Chicks, Gaga, and Bette Midler and Steven Tyler are a few names on ticket.
